Brie Peters: words are powerful. utterly powerful. sometimes there is lot to say, sometimes there are no words. there are times to speak, and times to listen. hopefully more of the latter. the emotions that we as humans feel day in and day out are many. they are real. some are beautiful, some are ugly, some are joyous, and yet some are utterly devastating. nonetheless; people feel what they feel, and people think what they think and when people share, it causes others to feel and think. they may be given the chance to pause and dig deeper within themselves. it also may cause them to become defensive, cold, and staunch. it may cause them or [force them] to re-think what they've thought their whole life, and a lot of people approach that possibility in complete, uncontrollable fear. it can be scary, it can bring about more questions and more doubts [and who wants to go there?], but it keeps hearts open and allows love to grow. so keep sharing. keep opening up. share your words, and listen with open ears, because words are powerful. utterly powerful. use them wisely, but use them, and never grow hard. allow your heart to be shaped and molded into love, grace, joy, acceptance, unity and peace.
